Breast Lift Southlake
Conveniently located to serve the areas of Dallas, North Dallas, Southlake and the mid-cities.Sagging breasts that have lost their perkiness can be restored to their former youthful state with the help of a breast lift in Southlake. Also called mastopexy, this popular breast procedure removes the excess skin that causes breasts to droop.
Breasts often sag and stretch due to factors like genetics, the aging process, breastfeeding, and dramatic weight loss. With mastopexy surgery, the breasts can be recontoured and rejuvenated for a perkier look. The procedure can also treat breast asymmetry and address the size of the areolae.

How Do I Prepare for a Breast Lift?
The first step in mastopexy preparation is consultation with Dr. Habash. Patients describe their aesthetic goals to Dr. Habash, who creates a surgical plan with these goals in mind. The patient’s medical history is discussed, and the degree of breast sagging is evaluated. Dr. Habash will answer any questions the patient may have.
In some cases, a breast lift and augmentation are performed during the same surgical session. This combination procedure is called a breast augmentation with lift. Pairing a breast lift with implants increases the volume and projection of the breasts while eliminating sag and improving perkiness.
Though a breast lift and implants can provide comprehensive breast enhancement, in many cases, a breast lift without implants is the better choice. It all depends on the patient’s aesthetic goals and anatomical structure.
Once the consultation is over, the patient must prepare for the surgery. In the weeks leading up to mastopexy surgery, patients must avoid smoking and should not take any NSAIDs (non-surgical anti-inflammatory drugs). These must also be avoided during the healing process. Smoking causes a decline in tissue health, making healing more difficult and increasing complication risk, and NSAIDs increase the chance of excess bleeding.
Details of the Breast Lift Procedure
During a breast lift, patients are placed under either local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia. This choice will be made with Dr. Habash during the consultation. Local anesthesia with sedation creates effective localized numbing and a very drowsy state, while general anesthesia results in unconsciousness for the duration of the procedure.
Once the patient is comfortable and unable to feel any pain or discomfort, incisions will be made at specific sites. The type and location of these incisions will depend on the patient’s aesthetic goals.
The following breast lift incisions may be available:
- Anchor Lift – Ideal for those with a great deal of sagging since it provides the most access for the surgeon. An incision is made around the areola, another below it in a vertical line down to the breast fold, and a third in a curving horizontal incision on the fold.
- Lollipop Lift – Used to address moderate sag. An incision is created around the areola, and another is made down from this to meet the breast fold.
- Donut Lift – Best for light to moderate drooping. Two concentric circle incisions are made around the areola.
After the chosen incision has been made, the excess breast skin is then trimmed away. The remaining tissues are contoured and tightened to create perkier breasts without sagging. The areolae may be resized or repositioned as required. To finish the procedure, the incisions are closed with surgical sutures.

What Is Mastopexy Recovery Like?
Once you have returned home after your breast lift surgery, it will be time to rest and heal. During this process, it is vital that you follow Dr. Habash’s care instructions so as to prevent complications.
You will need to wear a surgical bra for a time in order to encourage proper tissue healing. Bras with sharp underwires can damage the tissues and thus must be avoided.
In the surgical areas, swelling and bruising will likely be present. These issues are only temporary and will lessen and disappear over time. Cold compresses can help with this process.
Once the healing process is complete, you will be able to enjoy your natural-looking and high-quality breast lift results.
Breast Lift Cost
A breast lift from an ABPS-certified plastic surgeon varies in price. Breast lift cost is determined using several factors. The length of the surgery, the breast lift incision technique used, the amount of tissue removed, and the type of anesthesia administered all play a part in determining mastopexy cost.
